Highlights

• All editions: the buttons on the update toasts act now. Install and Restart, Restart Now, Sign in and Renew sponsorship run while the app is up, and a click that starts the app fresh is carried within its first minute.
• All editions: a tab with no profile is named by what runs in it, resolved from the program actually in the pane, instead of every such tab reading the application's own name.
• Pro and Pro Legacy: tools installed under your own account, such as those from winget, scoop or cargo, are found in every persistent pane, including after an update relaunches the app. Every pane spawn merges your user PATH in, so a tool that worked before an update no longer goes missing after it.

Fixes

• All editions: the automatic update check at startup runs now. The check used to arm itself after the moment it was waiting for had already passed, so it never fired.
• All editions: pressing Enter or Escape in the command palette no longer types that character into the terminal when the palette closes on it.
• All editions: shell integration ships and runs. The integration scripts are installed beside the app and mark the prompt in PowerShell and cmd, including under PowerShell's default execution policy, and a shell launched inside an integrated shell is no longer marked twice. The terminal type stays xterm-256color, which the shells you run on Windows can actually read.
• All editions: editing the configuration in another program is safe through the whole save. The starter template is written only at startup, never on a reload, so a reload landing in the gap of a replace-style save can no longer write the template over your file.
• Sponsor, Pro and Pro Legacy: a sponsorship that gains channels or tiers reaches the download and update gates without signing out and back in.
• Sponsor, Pro and Pro Legacy: signing in works on machines where Windows was set to hand out network ports from a wider range than usual. Sign-in used to fail there before the browser even opened.
• All editions: the update badge on the taskbar icon can be told apart from the taskbar's own colour, and the row of buttons on an in-app notice no longer sits jammed against the bottom edge.
• The paid editions ship their licence texts beside the binaries, with every third-party notice they owe and their licensors named; the About window names the copyright holders.

Known issues

Warning

• Deleting your configuration file while the app is running stops later changes taking effect, including turning High Contrast on, until you restart.
• An update toast button clicked more than a minute after the app was closed still only opens the app instead of acting.
• Changing the update channel quickly back and forth in the popover can silently drop one of the choices; making the choice again lands it.
• The Enter or Escape that closes the command palette can still echo its character into a sibling pane rather than the focused one.
• If the update fails, install this version from the download page.
• The Start menu's All apps entry can show a small, upscaled icon; the Desktop and Start menu shortcuts carry the proper icon.
• Pro and Pro Legacy: bringing a left-behind session daemon up to date is offered when the app notices it. Sessions with nothing running in them are handled on their own.
