Highlights

• Pro and Pro Legacy: every new tab and split is persistent by default, so its shell outlives closing Wintty or an update and comes back when you reopen. Ctrl+Alt+T and Alt+click on the new-tab button open a local tab instead, and pane-persistent-by-default = false turns the default off.
• The command palette switches themes: the list filters as you type and previews each theme live on every terminal and the window frame as you move through it. Enter keeps the choice, Escape puts back what was on screen.
• Pro and Pro Legacy: the sessions picker attaches the session you choose: one this window already shows is focused, an idle one opens in a new tab, and one attached elsewhere is taken over after you confirm.
• Pro and Pro Legacy: agent resume picks up only the session the agent itself reported while it ran, never a guessed or an ended one, and a resume that cannot start hands your shell back.
• In Sponsor, Pro and Pro Legacy, the command palette signs you in and out: the entries follow your sign-in state, and sign-out asks before it acts.

Fixes

• The account and update pill renders in the default horizontal layout, so its states show there instead of only with vertical tabs.
• Signing in works more than once per app run, and the page a finished sign-in shows no longer cuts off while loading.
• When your sign-in expires during an update download, the updater keeps the error that says so instead of flipping back to a progress state that no longer applies.
• A tab keeps the profile it was opened from through a reopen, a duplicate or a saved-session restore: the icon survives, and the profile's icon-tracking setting is honoured.
• The quick terminal never flashes an empty window before its first summon, and that first summon opens on the monitor your last regular window was on.
• Pro: clicking a notification while the app is closed opens it, instead of the click doing nothing.
• Pro and Pro Legacy: the agent overview and monitor show one short notice when no agents are running, it dismisses itself, and agents are detected in panes the session daemon hosts.
• Pro and Pro Legacy: the background processes behind persistent sessions now ship optimized.
• The terminal engine is updated: a new terminal costs less memory, pooled and compressed page memory is reclaimed, and programs that query terminal modes get answers.
• Image transfers that name UNC paths, device namespaces or reserved DOS device names are refused.
• Stability improvements in tab handling and settings reloads.

Known issues

Warning

• To take an update, use the update popover inside the app; the buttons on the update toasts do not act yet.
• If the update fails, install this version from the download page.
• The Start menu's All apps entry can show a small, upscaled icon; the Desktop and Start menu shortcuts carry the proper icon.
